The Big AskThe focus of Oxford FoE's climate campaign since May 2005 has been to participate in the Big Ask campaign run by Friends of the Earth nationally. The aim of this is to persuade Parliament to pass a law requiring the UK Government to make an 80% cut in greenhouse gas emissions by 2050.For more on the national campaign and how you can take part, see the Friends of the Earth main site. Locally, we have got postcards signed to MPs, and lobbied our local MPs, Evan Harris and Andrew Smith, as well as run demonstrations and stunts.
